Breakfast is served daily from 7:15-8:15. Once a month, our team members have meetings, and we need your help to make our morning run smoothly. 


Duties in the cafe:

Cart/Condiments (1): Offer scholars the extras that come with their breakfast, and the cold breakfast option after hot breakfast stops being served.

Compost (1): Make sure scholars only throw away food in the compost, trash in the garbage, and stack their trays to be composted at the end of breakfast.

Wiping Tables (3): Monitor scholars as they eat and give gentle reminders to focus on eating first, talking second. Wipe any spills or messes.

Sweep/Mop (3): Monitor scholars as they eat and give gentle reminders to focus on eating first, talking second. Sweep/mop and spills or messes. 


Greeting duties outside the cafe:

All hall monitors should greet scholars as they make their way to class. Make sure scholars aren't delaying getting to the classrooms. Give gentle reminders as needed. 2 monitors are needed per floor by the stairways, plus an additional monitor outside the nurse's office.
